About this design:
Black Cockatoo was inspired by the beautiful Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos who used to visit Lara’s family shack down in Fairhaven when the Hakea Laurina was in flower. Very timid birds, they would fly squawking away at the slightest sound of an approaching footstep!

This hand screen-printed linen cushion is made in our Abbotsford studio in Melbourne. Each cushion is carefully printed with water-based inks onto sustainably sourced linen, then cut and sewn in-house by our small team. This small scale, local & handcrafted process ensures every piece is unique & celebrates the beauty of slow, sustainable design.

Design & Colour:
This cushion features Black Cockatoo in Rainforest on Oatmeal eco-linen, with Bracken in Rainforest on Pacific Washed linen on the reverse.

Express Post is not available for cushions sold with inserts or if your cushion cover needs to be made to order. Please call the studio in advance to check stock levels if you need your cushion cover in a hurry.
