'Yarra' sling chair - Black Cockatoo

The first piece from our Collaboration with local furniture wizards Kithe, the Yarra sling chair is designed, printed & manufactured right here in Abbotsford, Melbourne, just a stone's throw from the banks of the Yarra River. The Frame is handcrafted in solid hardwood timber, and the sling is made from two layers of our durable, heavyweight linen.

A dowel based system at the back & base of the chair makes the fabric easily removable, adjustable and washable. The chair can easily be updated with the purchase of additional slings in different fabrics.

Each chair is made to order, please allow 6 weeks for completion. 

Australian Made with beautiful hardwood timber. Choose either Blackwood (pictured) or American Oak.

Kithe strives to procure hardwood that is sustainably grown or salvaged, to reduce environmental impact and create more beautiful furniture.
