Basecloth: 160gsm 'Basalt' 100% Belgian Linen. All our linens are manufactured in Belgium using high quality European flax, at our carbon neutral mill. Our linens are designed to be lived with and loved for a lifetime.
Useage: Apparel, soft furnishings, bedding, craft, quilting.
Shrinkage/washing: Pre-wash in cool or lukewarm water on a gentle cycle prior to cutting, if using this fabric for apparel. Expect approx 4-5% shrinkage.

About this design
This pretty native vine (Clematis Aristata) was spied in the heritage listed gardens of Rippon Lea Estate in Melbourne's South-east. Caitlin was inspired by the star shaped flowers to create a repeat pattern to pay homage to the elaborate wallpaper in the Mansion which she then overlaid with a large sinuous floral Clematis vine.
